If divine truth is eternal, why do doctrines evolve over time?

Evolution of Doctrine

Divine Truth is indeed eternal, unchanging, and absolute — the very nature of God. However, doctrines are not Truth, Itself; they are human attempts to articulate, structure, and comprehend infinite Truth through the lens of a finite, human race-consciousness. Doctrine is the map, not the territory.

As human understanding deepens and consciousness evolves, guided by Spirit, our articulation of the eternal Truth evolves in a corollary manner. What was once grasped dimly through limited language or cultural context becomes clearer as we align more fully with Presence. Doctrines change because our capacity to receive and express the One Truth expands, not because Truth, Itself, wavers.

This evolution reflects spiritual maturity—moving from literal interpretation to living understanding. It is the ongoing process of translating the eternal into the temporal, allowing the infinite to find new forms of expression in the human mind. We refine the language, but the essence remains Love.

We will look at 3 qualities at each workshop through music, journal writing, small group sharing and movement.
Lunch will be provided and the love offering $25-45 is suggested. We are a loving community of women who accept you as you are and support you in becoming even more of who you are meant to be.
