What separates genuine spiritual insight from self-delusion?

Genuine spiritual insight is characterized by an expansive feeling of knowingness occurring when one’s innate spiritual powers align with the One Mind, “the underlying field of awareness out of which everything arises.” As individuals, we are each a point of power in a universe of Divine Intelligence, capable of discernment between Truth (the Absolute Reality that is Divine Beingness) from the lesser “truth” suited to promulgating the misconceptions of the personality-self.

Transitioning from habitually seeing the world through judgements and the nuanced biases of the mind necessitates a commitment to the practice of letting go of what we think we know to be true. Perpetually surrendering attachment to egoic thinking reveals within us a natural sense of awe and wonder. From this place, we have the capacity to discern spiritual insight from the traps of personality-based ‘self-delusions’, thereby gaining a greater sense of Individuality – one’s unique expression of God-Mind.
